Title: linux version of SFmpq
Post by toeshock on Mar 28th, 2006, 7:19pm

would it be possible to release a new version of SFmpq for linux?  the one on the website doesn't work with a reasonably current (gcc-4.0.2 here) toolchain.

I probably will some day, but I'm not quite sure when I will...  As far as I know, I can still compile it for Linux in its current state, though.

The issue is that g++'s ABI has changed since the release was made in 2002.  While the source will probably still build with the current toolchain, the released binaries won't link to things built with newer versions of g++.
