Player colours
Jan 03rd, 2004, 8:29pm

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I'm rly trying to get a certain player colour and can't seem to get it.

I've tried using guedit and scmtoolkit but to no success.
The colour I'd like is a lighter shade of purple than the original one. I am absoutely sure I saw it on a map once but I've reformatted since and no longer have the map.

A further question is there anyway to increase the size of the scmtoolkit pad? It's just when going thru the colours the coloured patch is so small its hard to tell what the colours are.

thanks for any assistance.

1. ON WHAT TILESET did it exist ?!?!?!

You know, only first ~15 colours (don't remember exactly) are really player colours, when you try to access colours > it, you get into a tilset's pallette, whitch IS different for various tilesets.
I think the colour square only shows first some colours, hardcoded into SCMtoolkit, so try exprerimenting
(download "[PYS]" maps... some show weird colours....)

Well, about bigger coloured square.... that could be only fixed with SF, if he EVER gets online.......
SF, if you are reading this, INCREASE the SCMtoolkit window size !!!!!!!!!!!!

1) As stated here, ShadowFlare is not a "he".

2) ShadowFlare does not have the source code to SCMToolKit anymore. Thus the only way to fix it would be to rewrite the whole program, and I doubt she will do that.

Use SCMDraft 2 if you want to do these things...
