ok. this time it's about scm toolkit. how do you make it work!? How can i make it use the right archive file? i really don't understand anything about this program.... pls i really wanna use this program!

ok. You know how u have to go into options and locate the file with browse? well, thats where i get stuck... I dont understand how i get it to do that...

o yea 1 thing i forgot to metion.
I have absolutly no idea what the files i have do =0! I downloaded MpqControl as well. I have extracted my zips and now i dont know what to do. Please help im so confused!

Ok, first what OS are you running? It should be Win95, 98 or ME for "perfect results". Then you need mpq2k, the VB-Runtime files and the runpacks mentioned in the ScmToolkit download box beside the ScmToolkit (for mpq2k). Install the Runpacks and VB-files and unzip ScmToolkit in any folder. Unzip mpq2k, too and start ScmToolkit. Now go to the options menu and click on Browse (for mpq2k). Then locate mpq2k for ScmToolkit. Now it should work.

Actually i have windows XP... But i figured it out anyway. The only problem was that i didnt have Mpq2k and Scm Toolkit in the same folder as the maps i wanted to open. I dunno why it needs to be in the same place but i guess its fine with me cuz its working :)

That isn't right. You should be able to open any map from anywhere you want with MPQ2K anywhere. Both my SCM Toolkit and MPQ2K are in seperate directories, which aren't even near my maps.
